I'm wondering if there is a good but cheap food out there. I just got some senegal bichers for my 90 gallon and want to get either ropefish or an eel. I got some hikari carniverous food sticks, which my fish love, but it's expensive(like $35 for 250g). is there a good food out there that I don't have to spend a fortune on? I see some other MFKs tanks, if they fed only expensive stuff they'd go broke!

HBH super cichlid sinkers are a great sinking food. 46% protein and the fish seem to love it.

I make my own but its not cheap..

Its ok to use cheap food but please supplement their diet with fresh meat weekly you can buy a lot from a market cheap .

jeez at the rate you pay for that type food, New life spectrum seems cheap! Get a 5 lb bucket at kensfish or jehmco (.com's) for about 55 bucks shipped, REALLY high quality food, will make any colorfull fish show their best colors and should last a little whlie.
