Infertile male Texas?

My Texas pair just laid eggs this morning. This is the 4th time they've laid eggs but no fry. The eggs are white,which I know are not fertile. I don't know if my male Texas is infertile or if it's just inexperience.

Hard to say, I'd give them a couple more shots and if he's still shooting blanks chalk it up to infertile. Nice looking pair either way

Thanks. Even if he's infertile I wouldn't be disappointed. He's got so much personality.

One question...do they fertilize the eggs right after they're laid or do they wait a day or 2 before they fertilize the eggs?

They will fertilize shortly after they're laid. Should be fertile. Give them a few more shots.
