Infestation of snails

Ok so it's really starting to crack me up now, so far all I've tried is picking them out but that ain't working and snail traps, which didn't catch a single one.
So I'm now thinking a snail killing chemical as a last resort, unless anyone can suggest something?
Any suggestion would be great, that won't harm my Discus.

they sell assassin snails at my lfs you should talk to yours about getting some

Don't use the chemical. Imagine the bio load of a thousand dead snails... Lots of people recommend clown loaches, I've had good luck with larger bala sharks.

agreed use a snail eater, not a snail killer, it will be much easier on ur bio load

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try half a dozen clown loaches. I know they are readily available at my lfs.

Use a piece of lettuce or cucumber. Weight it down, the next morning it will be covered with snails. Just pick it out of the tank and throw it in the trash.
