I wanted to know what is the growth rate..i know they grow huge.. And what is a good diet for them.. Any possible tank mates ?

no tank mates they are electric killers
I had 2 of them and they grow huge and fast
known to bite fingers so watch that.
They are impressive fish but do not go well with anything at all.

nope electric fish cannot be kept together in a small tank it will mess them up and they will die.

they're elec. output isn't as strong as an Elec cat or a eel. They mainly use their weak electric pulses to navigate. they dont use em to kill their prey. think of em more of morymids... it is risky. BUT IT CAN BE DONE. (kept with other fishes)
yeah but housing 2 together does cause some electrical disturbance. if the tank size is too small.
I've decided to get just one.. and maybe house it with my gar.. Im not sure about it yet.. I think since the gar has really hard scales..the bite from an aba should'nt do a lot of dammage..
