info on female convicts

im looking to find out if the female convict lays fertilized eggs, i have a tank of 2 males 3 females and the males seem to eat the eggs within a few days. with the aid of a breeder box i dont know if the female needs the male in with her once she is noticable pregnant? ive heard convicts are quite easy to breed but i have been struggling with the two males any info would be greatly apreciated.

With a little patience you will have more fry than you ever thought you would need. Just make sure they have a place to put the eggs that they can protect and they will.

if this is the first or second time, they take 3-5 times to learn to take take of eggs and fry
so be patient
if not then you have to remove the eggs to another tank
