I have one on order from the LFS. I just want to get some real world experiences from members as opposed to the "info sheets" posted all over the net.

What temp do you keep yours at? I have read that above 75 and they will not eat, is there any truth to that? They seem to be territorial to their own kind, but how about to other fish? Any other info / experiences?

Ageneiosus marmoratus, Ageneiosus pardalis, and Ageneiosus polystictus are known as the jaguar catfish from what i've seen.

Sorry, no offence intended whatsoever. You are right but unfortunatey people use that name to call an RTCxTSN hybrid on occasion or many syno hybrids or sometimes any spotted catfish. Enough said.

*** surely a search on the name on MFK and PCF would bring up many first hand accounts.

What temp do you keep yours at?
*** 75 F. They have been fine IME at 72-78 F.

I have read that above 75 and they will not eat, is there any truth to that?
***IME no - in the right setup and right diet they eat like there is no tomorrow.

They seem to be territorial to their own kind,
*** Not IME. Mine two always shared their quarters, never quarrelled.

but how about to other fish?
*** Mine never paid any attention to other ~50 kinds of fish, mostly cats, they shared their tanks with.

Any other info / experiences?
*** Hard to lecture. I'd prefer more specific questions :)

You didn't offend me, sorry if it came off that way.

Thanks for the info, I'll read up on the links you posted.
