well after using the search function ive managed to find that 90% of posts that have mayan or uro in them are about festae ultimately. the other 10% are about mayan aggression issues. so from all the posts ive gathered that: they are uber aggressive (info in posts says against other cichlids though), they are still pretty fish even though some are disappointed by getting them, they get mistaken for festae alot despite the distinguishing features.
as my search has proved fruitless and i no longer believe info gathered through google, i am after:
1)how large do both sexes get?
2)are both sexes equally aggressive?
3)do they make good wet pets or would i be better off trying one of the other possibles in my sugnature?
4)are they tolerant of catfish and BN plecs?
