Info on Nicaraguan cichlid

Can anyone give me some info on the Nicaraguan Cichlid? Water parameters, final size, temperament, any possible tank mates?

Any information is appreciated

They're not real picky on paramenters, as long as you don't let quality fail. Males top at about 10", females a couple inches smaller. They can be pushy from time to time, but they're not nasty. Tankmates should be larger cichlids that can generally take care of themselves. Severums, firemouths, gt, dempseys, so on.

Had mine for about 8 years. Lives or has lived with JD, oscars, pacu, SD, severums, leporinus, plecos, bichir, midas witj out any issues. Is not the aggressor but will defend itself or its chosen site. PH 6.8-7.4 temp 80-82 not a picky eater.
