would like to know the pro and con of biocubes. As this would be first marine tank and what corals work best under it's lighting.

i havent really had and cons too them. i liked my 29 jbj hqi better. too me a little more back space... you could keep some low light corals but nothing to crazy.. maybe some medium light corals but maybe a few.. if you through some good leds. your set

I don't know much about the BioCube, I have the 29G JBJ Nano Cube Delux, I like it alot. I have had it for about 8 months or so. My only complaint is I wish it had more space in the back. Overall I think it's great for a first marine setup. It's not real small or too big. If you can mantain good water params on a 29G it will only be easier for you to maintain a larger tank when you decide to move up. Atleast that is my plan.

The small AIO cubes are great to get started with. Most of us run out of room and upgrade but thats part of the hobby. I would say heat would be your only problem. But which lights are you get with your cube? That will determent your coral selection and will also determent if heat is a problem for you.

well there is a metal or powercompact option.. go with the 150w halide. can gro most corals. might need to add some leds later to make it so you can grow anything you want

I had a 29g biocube and liked it alot. I got it as my first tank to see if I could actually do saltwater, and liked the fact that it was aio. Depending on your plans, as stated above, hqi model if you plan on the high light corals. I just kept a fowlr in mine, and a few shrooms that came on my live rock, with the pc's. However when I upgraded to a 75g, I got a t5 light and the shrroms are looking alot better. Could be better water quality, could be the lights, not sure. But for what its worth, the cube is a great small tank and you can find them used pretty cheap.
