which is the least aggressive and would work with a jaguar any in a 125 or 120

It is not reccomended to keep a parachromis species with another unless the tank is very large. You may want to look into although you could look into getting your jag a mate!

I'd go with a mate for the Mana you have. Much better viewing the spawning rituals of a pair then watching to seperate species tear one and other apart over territory.:grinno:

I have seen many a Parachromis work well together, although in a large tank (8')......

well the jag is young like 5'' and i was thinking of getting a tank about 6 feet long

if the 125 is 6' long, than i'd say you'd have fair game with anything other than dovii, loselli's, freddy's, mota's or another jaguar should be fine with it. but you never know, it may work or may not, you have to try it though.

im trying to get a bigger tank if i can make room if i got a 180 6x2x2 would that be better then a 125 6x18''x2

GOOD LUCK parachromis are outrageously conspecific aggressive IME. However, If you are going to attempt to keep another parachromis - you should definetly experiment now before he's any older!

yes i agree

try out different combos before he gets too big!

but if your getting a 180 then you should be able to get away with atleat one other kind of parachromis species!

get the 180 and get a few of the ones XR recomended and keep the dividers handy and send some pics.
