info on red sea prizm skimmer

I have one. No it's not quiet. It's also probably one of the worst skimmers out there--2nd to the skilter. I only have mine because I got it for free & I'm using it on my 15g Mantis tank, till I can find a good deal on a better one. Better than nothing, I guess. Really hard to dial in. Either it's skimming nothing at all or overflowing onto the floor.

I have one that works very well when it works. Produces nice think black crap for about a couple of hours till it gets an inche or so in it and then seems to clog itself up or something. Have no Idea why but is always giving me trouble. I got mine real cheap from work so arent that worried but i def wouldnt buy or recomend anyone else buy one retail.
