It's been a while since I raised Africans and I'm acquiring a breeding group of dragon blood peacocks. 1m/4f male is 5" and females range from 3"-4". The male has been killing off all the other male peacocks in my brothers tank so that's why I'm getting them. They will be going into a 125 gallon with a 7" synodontis featherfin catfish and a 9" polypterus lapradei. I know that the poly will out grow the tank so it will be sold or traded when that time comes. Now the question is I really like the nimbochromis fusco and the dimidochromis comp. Would that setup work out and should I get small ones or should I just get full grown ones? Another question is will they be able to hold their own against the dragon blood? I mainly just want a breeding group with 1-2 center fish.

I think you should be ok if you get a larger nimbo and comp. If you get small ones they'll probably be killed before they have a chance to grow. You'll just have to monitor the situation. If you notice any fish getting picked on, you may need to separate them.

Be careful with the size of the Fusco.
The comps can also be aggressive but I've never seen a Fusco that's not.
Ime- they will own the tank quite quickly
