info on tank glass

hi i got a 6 ft tank by 2ft by 2ft byt i broke the bottem glass while moveing it verry heavy got droped got new bottom on order but thickest they can do is 10mm will it hold the other glass on sides is 15mm thanks graham

On the bottom, I wouldn't put anything thinner than the glass that is used on the sides. I've read on a "build your own tank" site that you should use thicker glass on the bottom.

its just the bottom, so I'd probably figure out a way to use a piece of plywood or plexiglass, or something else I don't know about. Go to the hardware store and tell the guy you need a sheet of something 6x2 that is waterproof and will hold plenty of weight. Or, post questions in the DIY forum, you'll probably get some good advice.
