I'm finding it hard to gather any information on this seemingly rarely seen in the trade catfish. :nilly:

Does anyone know anything about them? First hand experience keeping these guys would be even better.

I know nothing about them other than that they look neat. Free Bump for introducing me to a fish I've never seen before. Sorry I don't have information.

Are these your little guys? If so, tell us about what you have observed since it appear that there isn't a whole lot of information about them around here.

I wish, I'm considering trying to get one however.

So far this is the sparse information I've been able to find on them.

They're an Australian based species.

"Inhabits pools and flowing streams, swimming close to rocky or sandy substrate (Ref. 44894). Widespread in rivers and creeks of the Kimberley region and prefer habitat of variable-sized rocky pools, usually with slow to relatively swift-flowing water"

Max size is 35 CM's, or just shy of 14 inches.

Extremely non-aggressive/combative, can't and or won't defend itself. Needs a very fine substrate to feel comfortable, they dig through the substrate trying to find food similar to hoplo's and giraffe catfish.
