I can get a 2" Tokay gecko would be bigger but part of his tail is missing. I am curious what all they will eat. I read that mice and fish(not a hole lot) crickets, roaches, and meal worms. Anything else. I want him to have a nice varied food. How long will a 10gl work for him. I have a 40gl breeder that will he his permanent home. Also how long should it take for his tail to grow back?

They will eat damn near anything that moves.
Stick was a varied diet, crickets, roaches, wax worms, meal worms, etc. No need for pinkies or goldfish. Goldfish are a bad feeder to begin with.
I don't honest know if their tails grow back or not.

I didn't mean goldfish. I know they are bad feeders. I am pretty sure their tails grow back but if not it's not a big deal. Also should I dust his food with calcium?
