im thinking of getting a pair of tokay geckos. a local pet store has them for about $15 each. im looking to get info on care for them, like tank size, diet, etc... i've got a 55g tank, would that work. i've really wanted another reptile since i had a 4ft iguana when i was younger. thanks

Your best bet is to keep them seperate. Now if you wanted a pair you could keep them seperate and breed them when they are ready. But otherwise they are best alone.
they were housed together in the same cage at the pet store. they were atleast 6" each, you still think they should be kept separate?

They look nice, its good to be a display reptile, but if you decide to play with your tokay (think again!) Cause they like to bite and then take off on you 
They shouldn't be housed together. But most pet stores will house them together because they don't have enough space to house them separate.
