Anyone own a Zebra Knifefish? I just bought one and I'm looking for some more information on them. Not sure if anyone has experience with them and could tell me how they'd get along with some other fish it's size, and what would be best to feed it. I received some information from the petshop and internet sites, but just want to double check. Right now the one I have is around 5 inches. It's in a 55 gallon right now, and when it gets bigger I plan on putting it in my 180. Thanks for whatever info you have!

I've owned the very similar Carapo knife. I had no problems keeping them with other "oddball" fish in a 75 and 125. Easy to feed with that big mouth too. Keep it just like any other SA knife, low ph, warm, etc.

Zebra knifefis stay smaller and max is around 11". They are also less aggressive compare to carapo and tiger knifefish. They like to eat worms but small peaces of prawn/shrimps or fish fillet will be accepted too. They will trash it around till they can have a bite site.I have a tiger knifefish myself and seen the zebra knifefish as well.

they should be similar to the clown knife, which i have, and i started him off with bloodworms, flaces, petlets, small picks of market shrimp, and once in a while a few feeder minos
