Hello. I have some questions about Aristochromis Christyi. The first question is about mixing Lake Malawi, and Lake Tanganyika Cichlids. Can they mix with Frontosa Burundies? My other question is about tank size, from my understand the max size is from 25 to 30cm, and yet the minimum tank size suggested is 6 to 8 feet. If they could work in a 160cm long 55 cm wide 60cm high, 140g and would be able to mix Frontosas, how big prey would they be able to take, they would have to coexist with 15cm fish, but i doubt that would be an issue.

One of my favorites when I was keeping Africans. They were rather peaceful in my experience and I only fed them either flakes or pellets.I had them in a 180 but I've never mixed the two groups of fish so I can't speak on how they'd do with Frontosa.

How about the tank size?

Mine are in with a mix of haps and mbuna. They are amazing fish to watch when they go into predator mode as they have a very unique approach to hunting mbuna! Deffinitely a peaceful fish in my tank, even though they "hunt" they've never actually attempted to eat one of the mbuna. I would think a 140 would be perfectly fine as well as the frontosa. Good luck :)
