if its morays you're looking for, forget it. some may thrive for shoort periods in FW, but not for long....

the FW snowflake is not a true FW fish. there are plenty of eel-like fish, like spiny eels that are better choices

my lfs always have what they call a rubber eel. a true eel in fw but i don't know its scientific name. looks like just a long worm

rubber eel is a trade name for a type of aquatic caecilian, which are amphibians. really neat animals, worth the pickup
