Information on Channa Gachua

Seems like now i have 2 Channa Gachua and not Stewartii.

Now i need to know how to properly setup my tank.
I only have a 25Gallons but very soon i will have a 90 Gallons.

Do they need an air pump ?
Does it matter is i have one installed ?
What would be the best plant (with less care) for the Channa ?
Other tips and tricks would be appreciated.

HI,

snakeheads do not need airpumps, and alsoe the bubbling is bad for plants and good for algae. Get rid of it !

How about putting some natural Peat Moss at the bottom of my tank and then top it with some sand ? Would that work ?
What type of wood can be used to put in the tank ?

Lots of plants and hiding places for them and a finer substrate is usually good as the waste sits on top of it so its easier to clean

Would you know anything about putting PEAT Moss under the substrate ?

Unfortunately no never heard of doing that to be honest hopefully someone else can help you with that one
