I've had this crawfish for a few months now and I've set up a ten gallon and it recently finished cycling so i put it in the tank. Its still really small maybe an inch long and I was wondering about the kind of care it would need for right now and for later in life when it's bigger. Is a ten gallon ok to keep it in or should i get a bigger tank for it? its a native to Texas and i'm not really sure what type it is. Do i need to know the type of crawfish it is to be able to take good care of it? Other than that what should i know about taking care of my crawfish?

all crayfish enjoy a neutral to slightly alkaline enviroment, they survive in acidic water but they dont shed as often or grow as big. Feed them a diet with plenty of fish in, thay also enjoy bloodworms and earth worms you can also buy liquid calcium to add to the food.
It may be ok in a 10g but it depends on the species if it exceeds 6" then move it into a bigger tank but its fine in there for now.
