I have 125 gallon tank with 3 peacocks, 2 Fontosa's small 3-1/2'' , 1 Bristlenose pleco, and 2- 3'' tropheus Brichardi's. Question for you all is can this work out? I want to know what food to feed all the fish and not kill my new tropheus?. I have been feeding small sinking New Life Spectrum so far. Also how many of these cool Trouphes can I put in my tank safe? I will keep this tank to only these fish and maybe add more peacocks and tropheus in future. Thanks In advance. Chris Derrick

Personally I don't like the idea of mixing fronts with tropheus. The hyper active attitude of the trophs seems to stress out the fronts. I know there are a few people that have had this work, but I would say they're in the minority for sure.

If you removed the fronts, I would say you could do quite a few tropheus....atleast 40 in the 125.

NLS is a good food to feed them, you should be okay there...you can also mix it up with other high quality foods. They seem to like a varied diet.

Tropheus should be feed a vegeterain diet only otherwise you can run into problems with bloat. Once they mature I have seen them feed on a mixed diet.

What other foods do you recommend feeding them that my meat eaters will enjoy also? I would like to mix up some diffrent things just worried about causing bloat in them. Right now they are leaving the Fronts alone so I am going to leave it alone. Can you mix diffrent Tropheus with the ones I have now or stick to one kind? Also how often do you feed once a day or more? thanks in advance cd
