Hi i am presently having a 75 gallon tank with a pair of juvenile oscars for the last 5 months. So i am planning to add a single P.Bass in it. I have heard to keep p.bass in groups preferably is it really a cause of concern ?
Also as they r apex hunters and prefer live food. I am planning to get a 8 inch bass. What should i feed it ideally a bass of this size.
Please help !!

A 75 gallon tank is way too small. Keep reading up.

Welcome to MFK! I assume the 75 gallon is only for a few months? Any P-bass will outgrow the 75 gallon in two months!!

I wouldn't worry about getting a bigger tank for the bass. You say you have small oscar pair? They'll kill the bass in no time so growth wont be an issue. Oscars are not overly aggressive but some what territorial especially in Aquarium that has 6 square feet of surface area and or when a pair has bonded. Bass nothing more than eating machine at that size offering no resistance

Well...my bass stand up to my oscars. Generally though they get along. They are relatively the same size. Best if the bass are slightly longer than the oscars.
