What do you think? I know there is a seperate pike forum, but these ARE south american cichlids. And they are in my 265 community. My ol lady got a new camera so we're trying it out. More pics to come. Its a Nikon 1

Man! Those things look great! Which pikes are they? Temperment? Etc.?

(might have to add a couple to the tank! :) )

The pikes are crenicichla lenticulata. Spot-face pikes, that I got from John (snookn21) he's a vendor here on MFK. They are very aggressive, probably the most angry little things I've ever seen, they are both about 8-9" and don't have a problem pushing around my monster 12" fenestratus. Thanks for the kind comments.

This is my female Rio Copan parachromis motaguense, she's small only about 5" and very aggressive. She killed her mate that was 6-7" overnight and been black-listed a widow, and sent to the 265g community :)

Howdy neighbor!They are gorgeous!Love pikes not sure why they have their own section because you are right they are cichlids and they are from south america.I have always been a little confused by this as well.
