Hi, I work in a small pet shop in Michigan, and my boss put some Green Puffers in a tank he thought was empty, but however had a small (2") Polypterus Senegalus hiding under some driftwood. Needless to say they beat him up quite a bit, and I have him at home with me now in a ten gallon. His fins are almost completely nipped off, and one eye is very damaged. I have no substrate in the bottom because I figured it harbor more bacteria and rub open wounds. There is no light on the tank. I've added salt, Stability, and API Stress Coat+, and cut a plastic cup in half for a improvised cave. He isn't very active, but ate a bit of beefheart and bloodworms when I put some in the tank. I was wondering if there was anything else I could do, or any advice on bichir healing in general. Thanks!
