Hey people. I moved my blood parrot from my last thread over to a quarantine tank today. I am getting aquarium salt this evening, and I am still treating with The API Stress Coat. He does look better today. The swelling in his lower lip has gone down and he did eat some frozen blood worms last night. Here are some pics:10-20-12 007.jpg10-20-12 009.jpg

Best thing to do for him besides what you are already doing is to keep the water as good as you can. Meaning 0 ammonia. Might try treating with Melafix too, it works fine with stress coat. Good luck! Bps are tough little guys. Oh and toss a pvc pipe in there for him to hide in (wash first).

I added in the house from my 20 figuring that he might wqant to hide out in there, but he is swimming around like a champ now. He hangs out in the house while I am in the room doing things, but if I am just sitting around watching tv or something then he comes right on out. He is still eating blood worms. I guess that I should try to get him back to his old food now. I really dont want him to stop eating his food because of me feeding him these blood worms. AND! I was wondering, just about when do you think that I should move him and, mainly, the filter back to the 20? Since I moved the filter yesterday the water has looked super cloudy. I hate it! The parameters are still good though, which I guess is the main thing.
