so 2 weeks ago my flowerhorn appeared to have bumped his eye and its cloudy in the center with kinda a yellowish haziness, ive been using aquarium salt along with melafix for 2 weeks as well as 50% water changes every few days also ive turned the hit up to 85 degrees in hopes it would get better...it seems like i notice it changes every few days and looks better than when it first happened but very slow to change for the better, the eye isnt swollen at all and he acts like he can still see through it somewhat possibly only shadows.i started him on amoxicillin today since everything ive read this looks to be a gram positive bacteria infection.hes in a 40 gallon breeder right now solo with only a sponge filter and 300 gph hob with heater.ive never had a fish eye go cloudy that didnt heal within a day or 2.any advice would be helpful

Finish the abx course and cont to keep the water clean. Can add salt 1 tsp per g. Make sure it’s eating. Hope for the best.
