Injured Lungfish

My Marbled Lungfish seems to have some sort of injury. It's eating and is about as active as a lungfish should be. What's the best treatment? Here's a pic. It's the white area obviously.

That's the only thing I can think of that would have injured him. Do you know what I should do for it? Aquarium salt?

Keep the water clean and add salt 1 tsp per gallon. Keep the heater covered and should recover. Doesn’t look to bad.
