I think that the crayfish hurt my Fahaka's side fin. He has been hanging out at the bottom of the tank only swimming up occasionally. I was looking at him a little closer and one of his normally fast moving fins is not moving much if at all. Is there something I need to do to help him heal? Will he heal? Or will he die?

should heal is he fat he may just be resting from a big meal

if its injured add some salt to help him heal

also its best to remove any un eaten crayfish they eat fish and can do some damage useully at night

He is not very big 3 in. He doesn't look fat at all. I have had trouble getting him to hunt much. The crayfish is missing a claw and a bite out of his tail. However, my puffer has not finished him off. So, I should take the crayfish out? He seems to hide behind the heater all the time, never really venturing out into the tank.

Take the crayfish out and add some salt. Just give him some time to himself. He will not starve, but yes remove the Crayfish as it could do more damage than whats already done.

they are most active dureing the night if you leave it in i would make sure to remove its claws

Add Melafix & give him easier to eat foods--he's just a baby! WWW.**************.COM, check the library there for feeding articles..
