Hello there, just an update and pic. She ate 4 pellets yesterday, very happy and relieved. Here is what her wounds look like now....Thank you again for your help and responses, I appreciate it so very much. It is my wish that, should you ever need help with anything, you will find the help you need when you need it.

That’s fantastic news mate. I’m so glad she is doing well & starting to eat again. The wound beds look clean & healthy, good tissue regeneration happening. Keep doing what you’re doing! Looking forward to those “completely healed” pics in the near future!
Thanks for the updates!! 🔥🙌🏼

danotaylor danotaylor Hello, just an update, she's healed well though I feel that she has lost some of her feeling in the injury that was in front of her mouth. She seemed to struggle to locate and accurately pinpoint her pellets, then seemed confused about it all. It seems that her sensory feelings are a bit better now or she's adapted a way to find her food. I thank you again for your prompt replies, I thought she was going to die, maybe not from the Injuries themselves but from infection.

I am also astonished at their intelligence. I know that they are smart but its much more than that. She showed me the cold shoulder for a long time. When I came into the room she would turn her back to me, she would not eat the food I gave her only what my husband would drop in. She's better now but is suspicious of me still. I was the one that did everything to her, of course. Take good care and the kindest of regards.

Aldebaran Aldebaran she looks to be nicely healed up now. It was my pleasure to have been a part of seeing your ray recover. They do have a lot of sensory nerves in the forward part of their disc, some of which the burns will have damaged. But as you say, they’re extremely intelligent and she will work it out!
Thank you for the update. So glad to see she is doing well! Keep us posted 🤗
