I am thinking of getting A inkbird but I am confused the ones I have looked at have A cooling and A heating plug on them.
I have 2 300 watt heaters in A 480 I would like to put both heaters on the inkbird so if the tank goes up more than 3 degrees above my normal temperature it turns the heaters off just incase of A malfunction.
I assume once the temperature goes down the unit resets itself

I also want to pull it out of the box and be able to use it I don't want to have to do any wiring or water proofing

I have the InkBird 308, which is the one with the heating and cooling. It comes completely prewired. You will have to get an outlet adapter so that you can plug both heaters into the heating outlet. You will not use the cooling outlet.

They come with very easy to understand instructions so once you get it you should have no problem getting it setup.

I have not heard anything bad about the waterproofing of the probe going bad.

A lot of people over on SimplyDiscus use these and they love them.
