Inline Heater

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can make your own using a heater you would normally see mounted inside the aquarium.

But to also answer your question, i personally have never seen an inline heater, bought as an inline heater that was 300+ watts.

Coates makes inline heaters of all sizes, from 1500W up to 300,000W. The photo is from the mechanical room of the 12,000G Amazon tank at the Oregon Zoo.

I would love to see the mechanics of the rest of the system of the Oregon Zoo filtration system if you have access to it and can post pictures!

Has anyone ever seen an inline heater bigger than 300 watts?

Nope, I never seen an inline heater more than 300w..........My tanks do not exceed 180g................I usually use two 250w for my 100-125g..............I use three 300w for the 180g...............

I use Dual Hydor 300 watt ETH heaters on my 210g. I had to custom plumb a set up to connect to my FX5.
