hi all. I am after some input regarding stocking on my 160g (60"X30"X21").
I had full intention of a relatively minimalist tank with Rays and a small assortment of otherfish but from various amounts of input, i have decided it is unfair to creat a community with Rays due to the size of the tank. Whilst i am sure it could be done, i am not confident that the Ammonia created by the rays would be managable in such a small tank without large water changes every week. Whilst this isn't a huge issue for me, i don't want to run the risk of being unable to care for the ray correctly. I shall wait until i can sort and house a large enough tank. So this leaves me with a relatively understocked aquarium. Here is the current stock list;
1x comon plec 8"
1x poly. Ornatepinnis 8"
1. Hydrolycus Tatauaia 7-8"*
4x Geo. Surnamensis (sp.) 3-4"*
*arriving next week
Can any one suggest potential additions to this? i'd like to stay SA, even though the Bichir is not a SA species. I was thinknig Gold Wolf or something else unusual. The thought of Dollars is appealing, i'm not sure i really like them. Ideally i would like a species that could be another centerpiece for the aquarium.
Any other ideas?
Cheers.
