So i was thinking about getting a dreampond showtank but couldnt choose a size. Theres a 425gallon and a 750 gallon. I was gonna get the 425 cuz its cheaper and it would be easier to heat but would the extra 325 gallon be that more beneificial for my pbass? Im thinking its going to cost a lot more to heat and evrything but its only 60 bucks more. Thanx in advance.

For $60 bucks you gotta go for the 750 only a couple more heaters Bro...You know the extra water would be better for sure...

The pond needs to be insulated and covered. If you use foam boards for the bottom and top in addition to insulating the sides, it will make a big difference in the heating cost. The sides can be done like the water heater in you house. It can be trimmed with some kind of cover to make it look nice. It is the heat lost you are looking at. The cost to heat the pond is the ambient temperature of the outside of the pond as oppose to the inside of the pond. If you have minimal heat lost, it will be cheaper to heated. Good Luck.
