so ok a couple years ago i was hanging out alot at this one night club. I got introduced to a couple by my room mate who worked at the club.
when the couple would come in it was customary for the girl to ask who I am dating now. It was always someone new, or some fresh one i was after or into. i'd simply tell them a story about the new girl i was dating. Kind of like a simple back ground, age, race, religion, body type, how we met, nothing of serious endevors or juicy stories.
eventually my room mate left the country, and i started working at the club myself. The couple when they were out on the town would call me to come by. they'd call and get vip treatment, no line, no over, vip room access. free of charge on me. I'd even buy them a round or 2 here and there. and the same question and stories would follow.
So fast forward to recent times. the couple splits up. The girl and I are hanging out tonight, I bring up the subject of this one other girl I was trying to date comes up durring dinner. She doesn't remember whom i was talking about.
eventually she says "it doesn't really matter who this girl is, you were not that important then for us to remember what you were saying." yadda yadda yadda
She then goes on to say something later about how basicly it was in one ear and out the other. "just another one of your stories". " just another girl you were trying to date"
Man that just pissed me off. I mean I'm serilously dating this girl now, and she comes and pulls this 'you weren't an important person to us back then'. If things were different i'd be understanding and unphased by all this. but what gets my goat is that THEY the COUPLE would call me to get preferenctial treatment. but they couldn't be bothered to be serious and be entertained by my stories? and after the fact that SHE WOULD ASK ME ABOUT IT.
I know some of these things are common in the club. but not from people that i let into my house one night to hang out, not to people that i easily give the vip room to for no reason or even buy drinks for.
I don't think she realizes what she said. or how i related it to other things. it just sucks that I expected better from her. Just to find out that I was a sucker. If you don't care to hear my stories don't bloody ask ******!
