This is my fist American Cichlid, i thought i was gonna do Africans, but changed my mind and went with American. this is my first addition to the tank.


My wife doesn't let me touch her camera to much so excuse the terrible photo.

Also, Can anyone tell if its male or female?

I'd say male too, good lookin GT. Good on ya for goin new world, I bought a ton of africans at a local swap and now have to sell them b/c I remember how boring they are lol >.> no personality at all. Got a midas waiting for them to clear out such a fun fish. Wait til your GT is the same way.
