Insane Kok progress

This is my kamalau before is 1.5 months ago at 3.5 inches and the after was taken today at around 4.5-5 inches, considering he got his a** beat from a female and has been heeling for the last week his kok is still enormous for only 1.5 months....His red is also coming in strong now...let me know what you think

yeah thanks, he will look better in a week or two, he is just a bit beat up at the moment him and his female suddenly fought after being together for a week and he was nearly dead glad I saved him...His double row is usually really black..feeding sp100 head booster baby shrimp, and a thailand brand red enhancer "natural" and the occasional earth worm haha

well, nice fish but I don't think this is an insane kok progress! maybe your fish 's kok will get a little bit bigger but it won't get very big. Letting him meet the female is a good way to pump up the kok but don't let them fight, if they fight the kok will shrink !

Well IMO its great progress, its more then doubled in size in 1.5 months hes only around 5-6 months old so Id say its going to get quite large..keep in mind too its not at full potential due to the a** beating he received a week or so ago

LOL Its not going to be a monster kok if thats what you mean by "quite large". Tbh, a few cuts and scrapes aren't enough to bring down a kok. One thing is for sure, and that your fish is nice. Keep us updated.
