Hi guys,
i bought an inspector pleco a couple of months ago for my 180g tank. At my lfs he was always swimming with the others and as soon as i put it in my tank i never see him. hes always under the big driftwood and barely moves. he barely comes out from his corner from time to time. i saw him yest n he hasnt grown. any1 know if its normal that hes hiding all the time and if they get big fast and how big...
thanx:headbang2

yes, this is very normal. It means your pleco is actually happy you have some hiding places which usually arn't in shops and they get stressed and will swim form side to side. But now he has a "safe spot" he can hide :P

When he is used to his new environ ment and you have food he likes he will come out, dont worrie, but plecos prefer the darkness very much, so maybe some floatplants?
