Hi Guys,

I am wondering if anyone has experience installing these backgrounds with water in the tank.
Background3.JPG

Im going to probably buy this for my 5x2x2, the problem is I have a sump.
so if im going to lower the water level in the tank so i can glue it in at the top. My overflow wont work and my bb will die...

Is there anyways to prevent my bb from dying?
will a airstone in the sump prevent it from dying?
will this be okay for 2days?

Try putting some feeders in the sump (to make ammonia) and put in a powerhead or some small HOB filter.

Is the background made of foam? If it floats and you only anchor at the top you could have problems down the road.

I would buy a large rubbermaid container and move your fish and sump to it. Take the time to affix the background properly.

It is a rubber based background.
I won't be able to move the sump to it as it is connected to the tank and cabinet. So i don't want to disturb it really.

im thinking of putting gravel and extra rocks at the base anways to prevent it from uplifting.

Make a PVC overflow to use on the sump and lower the level...
