installing uv on saturday.. pump placement ?

i am waiting on the rest of parts to install my 25w aqua uv. should have them tommarow.

i am debating on setting the powerhead in the tank or mounting it outside like a siphon setup. what do u think.

It will work! And the artwork is outstanding, some of the best I have ever seen. I like the pump on the inside. I use to run a UVS in a sump and did it with a simple powerhead.

im not running a sump. it would have to be in the actual tank on the right rear corner.

Yes, I gathered that. The pump will add some heat to the tank which will be nice in the winter but a pain in the summer months.

If you don't mind seeing the pump in the tank then it's always better for the pump not to have to suck.
