Hey All, i turned my ray tank lights on and one of the ray's was like all white. I observed her for a bit and she was swimming around like normal just like my other 2. The other 2 however didn't have a color change. I went upstairs to get some food i thought that they might have been hungry but when i got back the color was almost back to normal.

The only thing that was different was that yesterday i wasn't home at all so i only turned on the light for 15 minutes. Last night however the ray wasn't white. Could lack of light have caused it?

I have a pleco in my tank, i see him trying to suck on the ray's sometime. Should i get him out?

I also noticed some white spots on its body. Would that be the pleco or aggression from another ray?

Help!

Get the pleco out... yesterday!

It's also a sign that the pleco isn't getting the right food, or any at all.

Throw in some veggies attached to a rock, or a piece of wood. Plecos need food, which many people don't know. lol.

I have 7 l200 with my 9 rays, never ever had a problem(1,5 year). But i keep them well fed on spirulina. Feed them after ive fed the rays so the rays wont take it. Also have aaalot of driftwood for them to be in.

Doesnt mean i recomend it, but its possible.
