I have a 5 gallon bucket that has been running as my temporary tank for a couple of months, because I needed to fix up my 10 gallon tank. So my question is if I can just dump all the water, decorations, gravel, etc... into the empty 10 gallon with sand and then fill up the other 5 gallons of water to fill it up to the top and then put in the fish I want to keep?
In addition, after transferring the water, I plan to add Lake Tang seachem salt to get the ph to 9.2. the fish I will be putting in afterwards will be my betta and a corydora catfish. Should I get some zebra danios too?
