Ok here it goes. I live in Fl and just built a new above ground pond. Well framed it out. Its 8x3x3. I want to insulate it but am not sure what will be the best to use. Styrafoam? I know spray insulation would work but out of my price range. Any sugestions?

Fiberglass bats in the framing, polysty. on the inside befroe the liner.

Styrofoam panels. The denser the better. With styrofoam you don't have to be concerned if they get wet like fiberglass batting. Styrofoam has a higher R value than fiberglass for the same thickness too.

I did quite a bit of research when insulating a hot tub recently. An alternative to fiberglass is poly filling. It is not supposed to loose its r value when wet like fiberglass.

Any thoughts on a top?
