Somewhere
I see many people with big tanks have insurance. What kind of insurance'??
i got 55 gall but i got crack two weeks ago and most of my water ended up on floor. I live on 2nd floor apt
what kind of insurance?
What are the prices?

Most home owners/renters insurance would have covered it. Call around to different insurance companies for a quote and be sure they cover aquariums.

Almost all of them do! Call around!

Im just curious, how did it break? Was it old or what? i have a 7year old tank upstairs in my room

No normal property insurance will cover an aquarium as far as the aquarium's replacement is concerned. The insurance covers the damage that may occur from a tank that leaks, bursts, or causes electrical fires. The damage can be covered under any regular home insurance or rental insurance policy.

My aquarium-damage is included with my other coverage and accounts for roughly $12-$14 of my insurance policy per year.

Does this just cover the damage to the house or does it cover the tank and stuff associated with the tank to?
