Earlier I spoke to the owner of my lfs if he could order me a 60 gallon rimless tank. He told me that he do not trust anything more than 30 gallons because his suppliers get their tank from China(He is not trying to say that China is bad). He said the integrity of rimless tanks from China are unreliable due to the quality issues and how fast they manufacture it. What he meant by manufacturing it, he said the people who makes the tank put on the silicone even though the glass has moister. The silicone locks in the moister creating small gaps for water to leak and/or collapse.
