List some interesting, unique, out of this world, scary, or adorable,(ect.) freshwater creatures!

My question is will a Rubber eel (AKA Sicilian Worms, Typhlonectes natans) and Mississippi Map live together peacefully? Or will the turtle try to eat the Rubber eel, if it is a smaller, young "eel" or vice versa?
Mississippi Maps range from: about quarter size-6 inches
Rubber eel: up 22 inches (LFS has some about no larger than 12")

If the turtle is an adult, will it harm the eel? and if the eel is about 7" will it harm the Mississippi Map turtle if it is smaler, how big would it need to be?

If these are not compatible, are there any snake like fish, and small turtles (no more than 8" max, the smaller the better) that can go together? Based on my research these both like a similar ph and the Rubber Eel is very tolerable with different temperatures.

Or any suggestions on very interesting aquatic creatures!! (nobody is in yet, and Im looking for very interesting, unique, scary,or adorable creatures...hopefully all of the above! )

160 Gallon, possibly soon to be raised secure top, and caged, empty pond
(any creatures will definitely have their optimal conditions, basking spots, ect. Its their tank, not mine! my only job is to keep them happy as can be!)

Thank you guys so much, any suggestions on other interesting creatures is MORE than appreciated!
