i have heard that female fish which is ready to lay eggs will leave pheromones in water to stimulate breeding that is why u all suggest to add water in breeder tank from other tank which already have a breeding pair with eggs so can i do it with my flowerhorn pair.can i divide the tank in 3 sections in this way:
1. in first section will be male fh
2.in second section will be female fh
& in 3. will be a pair of convicts which imo will surely breed and it will cause plumped female fh's ovipositor to be down and then male will accept him for time beind and i will have eggs
not that simple but still what do u think will it work for flowerhorn pair
