Purchased this RD a few months back from a local Breeder. As was the case, he was the typical striped brown/grey color that juvenile RD's are when they're young. That said, he started the "fade/peel" process a few weeks back and the color is almost a pinkish red (really cool actually). Anyways, in all of my years of keeping fish in the Amph family, I've never seen this type of color change during the fading/peeling process.
I'd love some feedback from those who've kept and observed RD/Midas Cichlids over the years. Thanks in advance!
