Are long snout Corries hard to find? Are they rare?

I was passively looking at the corries in walmart today and I saw one that looked like it had a deformed face. Now I found a "longsnout corydora" profile and I think that's what it is. If they're rare or something I want to go get it!!! lol. I'll quarantine it and everything to make sure no "walmart germs" get on it.

It's walmart if I asked them to order me one they would be like "what is that?"

That's what he looked like. Only white.

I'm pretty sure if you asked Walmart to order one for you, they'd look at you with a dumb look on their face. Not much different than any other time you ask a Walmart employee a question! :D

Yeah I think quarantine is a must from walmart. If not, you be releasing a biological attack on your tank. Mass fish homicide, basically.

Yeah I went and got him. They thought I was crazy coming in at almost 1am to buy a fish. Put him in the quarantine tank and now I can't find him. He's hiding under a piece of drift wood I think. I'm not going to feed tonight but I'll feed tomorrow and hopefully he'll be out and about. My other corries NEVER stop moving hardly. They don't' really school but every once in a while. They like blood worms though. I'm feeding them to my rams to beef them up into breeding condition. I'll get pics as soon as he's settled in.

His wasn't bad but there were 8 dead fish I counted in the other Tropical tanks and they run the same water in all. NO signs of Ich but that doesn't mean they're healthy. He's doing well. Checked on him this morning and he was out in the open. He's a creamy color and a elongated snout. From what I've seen he might be a corydoras barbatus? Dunno. I'll post pics later today if he'll stick around out in the open long enough for a close up.
