Interesting Hybrid; HRP and Freddie

I'm not a big hybrid fan and don't suppose they will survive in the 300. But it was pretty impressive w/ so many large Amphilophus and Vieja, among others that the HRP got the girl - and has also kept the others at bay so far. The girl he got was a Freddie.

I went on vacation and all babies lost. They tried again, but I had to remove the HRP. He was a complete tool. He'd chase everyone despite how small, and it would set off a chain reaction and get the big boys fighting. I put him in a 58 (he measured 5" TL) with a male 6.5" Escondido that had to be removed as well (had a broken jaw from early in life and could eat but was starting to get picked on as could not defend himself). The HRP instantly (with no girls in the tank and plenty of hiding places) started shredding the Escondido. The HRP has now been banished to the 75 w/ 50+ barred midas growouts. I'm sure it won't be long before he finds a girl in there.
